    @jk Klu Klux Klapton

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Against_Racism

    "Clapton told the crowd that England had "become overcrowded" and that they should vote for Powell to stop Britain from becoming "a black colony". He also told the audience that Britain should "get the foreigners out, get the wogs out, get the coons out", and then he repeatedly shouted the National Front slogan "Keep Britain White"."

      My vinyl shame file includes quite a few 60s/70s Clapton LPs, bought for no reason but the fact that he was a mate of George Harrison. I tried to like it, but it's muzak. It's certainly not blues. So there's consistency there; he kept his music white. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6AlQgq9MRE

      The #Beatles' song Get Back started as an improvised jam taking the piss out of Enoch Powell. McCartney, being McCartney, couldn't keep it pointed and it turned into a nonsense song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0INwWMaTNk https://microblog.mjd.id.au/url/23113
